A HAPPY DAY - 2010

This film was made as part of a workshop at FAMU in Prague.

It was shot with 2.5 minutes of film stock, and shot on a Bolex film camera.

The challenge of the project was to write and shoot a silent, 1 minute story with a limited amount of film.

Here, I present 2 versions of the film;

The original silent version:

And a version with musical accompaniment:

The edit does not change between versions, I am curious as to how music and sound can change a piece. When time permits I will make a sound designed version where we hear footsteps, laughter, atmospheric sounds etc.
